Neighbors Helping Neighbors: Highlights from Our Annual Community Cookout

There is nothing quite like seeing a community come together.

At OPEN M's Annual Community Cookout, neighbors gathered to enjoy food, music, laughter and time with one another on a beautiful summer afternoon. More than 20 community partners joined us, sharing valuable resources, building relationships and reminding us that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

A heartfelt thank you to Mi Iglesia Church for helping bring this year's Carnival theme to life with a bounce house, face painting and snow cones that filled the day with smiles.

One moment captured the heart of the event when a young guest scraped his knee while playing. Our Director of Health Services, Shannon, was there to clean and bandage it, offering comfort before he happily returned to the fun. It's a simple reminder that caring for our neighbors is at the heart of everything we do.

We are deeply grateful to every community partner, volunteer, staff member and guest who made this day possible. Thank you for showing up, sharing your time and helping strengthen our community.
