Every December, OPEN M’s CFTLOC program brings the spirit of the season to life for hundreds of children and families in Greater Akron. With your help, we provide gifts, essentials and a lot of love to households that need it most.
Whether you're a family applying for holiday support, a volunteer ready to spread cheer or a donor looking to give back—this is your one-stop hub for everything CFTLOC.

What is CFTLOC?
CFTLOC (Christmas for the Love of Children) is a beloved annual event coordinated by OPEN M that ensures families facing financial hardships don’t have to choose between paying bills and making holiday memories. Through donations, volunteer power and community partnerships, we distribute:
Toys/gifts
Age-appropriate books
Pajamas
Winter essentials (coats, gloves, etc.)
Stocking stuffers
Holiday meal ingredients
(in 2024 approximately 165 pounds of food)
