Benefit Concert put on by the House Popes, Freez-R-Burn, Peep, Wash Jones, and Scott and Hallies at Musica in Akron on February 4 was a great success! $1,040 raised to support clinic!

The House Popes hosted a benefit concert for OPEN M on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 7:30 a.m. – midnight at Musica in Akron. Cover charge was $10 if you have employer-subsidized health insurance, either through your own job or through a family member’s job, $6 if you do not have employer-subsidized health insurance. $1,040 was raised through the event to support the OPEN M free health clinic. Five bands played including: the House Popes, Freez-r-burn, Peep, Wash Jones, and Scott and Hallies. The music being played will be rock n’ roll, folk, indie, covers and original music. It was a GREAT event filled with wonderful music and great people. We appreciate all the volunteers and OPEN M supporters that came out to support us on Saturday. It is because of your support we were able to raise so much money to go towards purchasing lifesaving medications for our clinic!
