Employment Services
OPEN M Employment Services delivers employment support, employer partners and daily and weekly workshops focused on job readiness and financial literacy to adults looking for employment. The OPEN M Employment Services team aims to help individuals overcome personal barriers to find meaningful employment and advance in their careers.
Community Works Akron
CWA is a week-long intensive workshop that is offered every other month to participants who need additional support. This program focuses on barrier identification and resolution, soft skills training and job readiness. Complete with mock interviews and resume support, this program is intended to help participants prepare for interviews and land a job.
Daily Workshops
The Daily Workshops include classes on a variety of topics including communication skills, conflict resolution and professional development. Additionally, the daily workshops provide a space for participants to utilize a computer lab with Wi-Fi to search and apply for jobs with the support of an Employment Services Specialist.
Employment Support
Our Employment Services team will be with you every step of the way, from the first day you arrive at OPEN M, until securing employment and beyond. We provide one-on-one support to all of our participants.

We have a great network of Employer Partners in the community who understand the important steps our participants are taking. They look forward to employing the right candidates for their open positions.
